Thank you very much for attending our Entrepreneurship Learning Community meeting on Friday March 14th, and for committing to further work together.  I very much appreciate your efforts.

Our next meeting of this core workgroup will be on Monday, May 5th, 9-11 at Saginaw Valley State University (thank you, Harry, for hosting!!).

The following issues emerged from our March 14th discussion as issues of interest to pursue further:

  • Regional Business Plan Competition

  • Education of Higher Ed Administration to understand the importance of Entrepreneurship as key value of institution

  • Strategies to infuse entrepreneurship across diverse disciplines across campus; strategies to promote entrepreneurship to all students on campus

  • Faculty peer-to-peer mentoring on Entrepreneurship education – best practices, curriculum, delivery

  • Write a business plan for your lifeAngel Investment Groups

Please let me know if there are any other issues that you would like to include.

The Youth workgroup will meet separately to discuss the issues that arose in the meeting that pertain to Youth.  These include: Summer Camp for Youth, Summer Institute for teachers to learn entrepreneurship curriculum, and Certifying teachers to teach Entrepreneurship. SVSU Parking directions

Click here for SVSU Campus Map

Parking is free in lots J1 or J2 and the main entrance is through the u-shape drive.  Once in Groening Commons turn right through the double doors and right again after the elevators.  The Executive Board room is at the end of the hall.  The map prints great in color.
