Welcome to the Healthcare Learning Community
Current strategies and priorities:
The Mid Michigan Healthcare Learning Community has identified two primary goals:
(1) to serve as an Innovation Resource for healthcare providers and professionals (including intermediary organizations such as educational institutions, professional associations, Economic Development Corporations, Chambers of Commerce, Michigan Works Agencies, etc.) - highlighting and propelling existing resources to meet their full potential in creating a talented and qualified workforce.
(2) to serve as a Communications and Advocacy Hub for the healthcare industry, crafting a cohesive message that appeals to policymakers and leaders who can impact positive change.
PROMISING PRACTICES:

Next steps:
With your help, several of these "promising practices" will be shared at our upcoming meeting in May. Learning Community participants have agreed to engage additional providers and ensure broad attendance. Provider input will be necessary to identify and address obstacles to fostering these innovative practices.
